The Consumer Credit Act 2025 [Act 873] (the CCA) was officially published on 31 December 2025, following the granting of Royal Assent on 22 December 2025.
A copy of the Act is available for download on the Attorney General’s Chambers of Malaysia (AGC) website via the Malaysia Federal Legislation portal.
Announcements are expected to be made in the first quarter of 2026 relating to the commencement date of the CCA and the establishment of the Consumer Credit Commission (CCC).
